Stewardship is…

Recognition of God’s ownership of all (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 24:1).

God entrusts us with all to manage and use for His glory alone (Matthew 25:14).

Stewardship is defined by who we are, what our relationship is with the owner, and how we faithfully prioritize, manage, and use all of His resources (time, talents, and treasures) to significantly impact the lives of others. It is using God-given abilities, to manage God-owned resources, to accomplish God-ordained purposes.

Stewardship is a function of our living or our lifestyle…that is who a steward IS.

Stewardship is not a function of giving…that is what a steward DOES. Giving will never make someone a good steward unless it is seen as part of a total lifestyle.

The value of our stewardship is found in the redemptive quality of our lifestyle, not just our giving but our daily living…our testimony!
